WHO AM I?

WHAT CAN I DO?
The question of why we are here has intrigued humanity for centuries, prompting deep philosophical inquiry and diverse interpretations across cultures and ideologies. It's a profound existential question that encourages introspection and can lead to various paths of understanding, whether through spirituality, science, or philosophy. While definitive answers may elude us, the pursuit of this question often enriches our perspective on life and our place in the universe. It's a personal journey that can inspire growth, purpose, and a deeper appreciation for the mystery of existence.
OUR BELIEFS AS A CHURCH
- We believe that the bible represents God’s word. It is true, reliable and pertinent to our daily lives.
- We believe in one God as the maker of all things. He exists in three person: God the father, God the son and God the Holy Spirit. He is a just and holy God.
- We believe that sin separates us from God and his purpose for our lives.
- We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ – who is God and was man -is our only hope of being redeemed. He reconciles us with God and by his death on the cross, we are saved. He lived a holy and sinless life, died on the cross and rose again to guarantee us victory.
- We believe that if we repent of our sins and believe in our Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to his will, we will receive forgiveness.
- We believe that to lead a holy and rewarding life and fulfill God’s purpose for us, we need to baptized in water and be filled with the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit comes with spiritual gifts, including speaking in tongues.
- We believe in the power and importance of the church and in the need for true worshipers to come together regularly and fellowship with one another, in prayers and by the ‘breaking of the bread’.
- We believe God has a purpose for everyone and has empowered us to fulfill that purpose; to worship him, serve our church and enrich our community.
- We believe it is God’s will for us to be healthy so that we can help others effectively. He is able and willing to heal us and rejuvenate our being.
- We believe that our relationship with God determines our eternal destination of either Heaven or Hell.
- We believe that Jesus Christ is coming back, as promised, to rapture the church.
